WELCOME TO BOSTON COURT PASADENA

Boston Court Pasadena is an intimate performing arts center dedicated to works that are innovative, diverse, vital and adventurous – and this includes visual art!

Artist Rebecca Bruno has created a new exhibition originally inspired by our physical venue and now interpreted for the virtual space. Part visual art, part movement, part sculpture, Rebecca’s work showcases the power of combining artistic mediums. We can’t wait for you to see this dynamic work!

ABOUT ARTNIGHT PASADENA

ArtNight Pasadena is going virtual this year! Explore artnightpasadena.org to see what all of the arts and cultural institutions of this city are presenting.

ArtNight Pasadena is the City’s signature cultural event, produced by the Cultural Affairs division in partnership with the ArtNight partner organizations. ArtNight Pasadena is a dynamic arts and cultural Open House that happens each March and October on the 2nd Friday. Up to 18 venues will provide free programming, including visual, literary and performing arts virtually.


ABOUT THE ARTIST

Rebecca Bruno is an artist working across dance and visual art. In 2013, Bruno founded homeLA, a performance project dedicated to dance process in private space partnering with body-based artists and Los Angeles residents. Bruno collaborates with Mak Kern on Objects for Others, a project that embraces chance and meditation by pairing a dance sensibility with kinetic sound sculptures. Bruno’s works have been presented by such venues as The Hammer Museum, The Norton Simon Museum, The Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, the Lloyd Wright Sowden House, the Neutra VDL House, REDCAT Theater, the Bootleg Theater, FLAX Foundation at Tin Flats, The Pit Gallery, Honor Fraser Gallery, Navel LA, Springbreak Art Show, Compound Yucca Valley, Eden’s Expressway NYC, Judson Church NYC, and the LAB, Jerusalem.
