The Passion of McQueen is a musical investigation into the final hour in the life of a creative genius. This work is a unique collaboration between fashion, opera, and technology.
FEATURED ARTISTS
Kentaro Kameyama (Composer, Costume Designer, and Pianist) is the winner of the Emmy-nominated sixteenth season of “Project Runway.” Born in Japan, he studied classical piano performance at the University of South Carolina and the Thornton School of Music at USC.
William Nedved (Librettist) is an award-winning playwright and lyricist. He is the co-founder of The Gift Theatre of Chicago, 17-year-old Equity ensemble.
Diana Wyenn (Director) is celebrated Los Angeles-based director and choreographer who uses multi-disciplinary performance to challenge and inspires audiences to see beyond the usual.
Peabody Southwell (Issie) is a Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano recognized for her “stylistic mastery and ripe, sensual sound” (Opera Magazine, UK). Recently made Metropolitan Opera debut in Marnie.
David Castillo (Lee & Producer) is a performer and producer who resides as an inaugural Company Member of The Industry.
Tracy Winters (Dialect Coach) Partial Credits: for productions with CTG @The Ahmanson, The Anneberg Center, South Coast Repertory Theatre, A Noise Within, Antaeus & at Boston Court. As an actor, she received an Ovation Award & is in the award winning web series Tinsel’s Town.
