Known as “Pop-e Irani” or “Iranian pop,” this concert blends modern Western musical elements with traditional Iranian melodies and poetic lyrics, creating a unique and evocative sound featuring catchy melodies, rhythmic beats, and emotionally resonant lyrics exploring love, life, and cultural identity that appeals to a global community.
PERSIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL
Enjoy two dynamic and contrasting concerts, one featuring Persian classical music and one featuring Persian Pop presented in partnership with the RAD Arts Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting and showcasing immigrant artists.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gelareh Sheibani is an Iranian singer, songwriter, producer known for GeLLa. She is a musical artist and has published “Roozom Shove” which produced her biggest hit yet, the song “Nagoo Tanhaei”, which has over 10 million plays. She is known for her contributions to Persian Jazz/Blues music.
She was born on the 17th of May 1985 with a passion for world music and developed an interest in music at a precocious age. Her family encouraged her to pursue music and solfège classes with Iranian Blues and Jazz music artist Sara Naeini. GeLLa started her music career at the age 16 as a studio singer in Tehran and recorded 2 albums with various artists.
Later on she travelled to different countries such as China, Malaysia, Dubai and Turkey performing and working with different agencies and worked with big brands for 10 years. She also has a number one record single in Iran music market and expanding her original music right now.
