Ranging from the meditative Zen flute solo (shakuhachi) to taiko/drum kit battle, the ensemble continues to bring new sonic expression that challenges and honors their individual cultures and traditions.

Music Style: World The L.A.-based women’s folk chorus performs an evening of traditional music from Eastern Europe, including a cappella and accompanied songs from Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, as well as from the Ladino Sephardic and Romani traditions.
