BUILT On A Legacy of Giving Back
Philanthropist Z. Clark Branson decided to give back to the Pasadena community that fostered his love of the arts. He built a performing arts facility that includes a 99-seat Main Stage and a 70-seat flexible space. A non-profit entity (The Theatre @ Boston Court, now Boston Court Pasadena) was created and charged with providing year-round programming, maintaining the facility and sustaining its operations.
Since Boston Court was founded on generosity, we wanted some way to both honor our original founder and to recognize those who, like him, commit to the long term support of this unique facility and organization that is cultivating new art and artists for the local community.
The Zebulon Society is named after our founder (that’s what the Z stands for!), and the following are supporters who have named Boston Court Pasadena in their wills, to ensure they are supporting this work for years to come.
