Music without Borders
Los Angeles-based chamber ensemble Bridge to Everywhere performs a cross-cultural program of contemporary music that reflects our interconnected world. The evening features works by Los Angeles-based composers Derrick Spiva, Jr., Reena Esmail, Juan Pablo Contreras and James Waterman including two world premieres. The concert also explores connections found across diverse musical traditions including Hindustani and Carnatic classical music, traditional West African music, Mexican folk music, Arabic music, Western classical music and jazz.

The Artists
Bridge to Everywhere is a collective of musicians whose passion and excitement for new music move them to take bold risks and explore the unfamiliar. From flute, violins and Hindustani vocals to electric guitar, Oud and percussion from around the world, the ensemble strives to build new bridges between instruments, genres, cultures and people.
