Season 2017

Pasadena City College presents an evening of jazz featuring the Jazz Combo and Latin Jazz Ensemble. Brian Carmody, Director

The PCC Jazz Combo will open the performance with guest soloists Zac Matthews on bass, Brian Carmody on drums, and Dan Cole on guitar featuring the music of Joe Chambers, and Pat Metheny, and other Jazz classics.

The second portion of the evening will feature the PCC Latin Jazz Ensemble with special guest Nick Stoup from the LA Philharmonic. This 15-piece band will play new arrangements of classics from the Afro-Cuban repertoire.
